MISSION STATEMENT

We exist TO GATHER as God’s people in Jesus Christ,  TO GROW in faith, love and service of Jesus Christ, and TO GO into the world as disciples of Jesus Christ.

VISION STATEMENT

Imagine a surrendered and transformed people who love God and others.  They are mesmerized by the idea that this is not about them, but all about Jesus.  They are seedthrowers and firestarters, hope peddlers and grace-givers, risktakers and dreamers, young and old.  They empower the poor, strengthen the weak, embrace the outcast, seek the lost.  They serve together, play together, worship together, live life together.  THEY ARE WE.  We will be a diverse, celebratory church of missional, disciple-making communities in every neighborhood, a relational, countywide network, strategized on reaching Johnston, Wake, Nash and Franklin Counties, reproducers and developers – of outward-focused churches worldwide..

CORE VALUES

• WE LOVE PEOPLE.  People matter to God and therefore matter to us (2 Corinthians 5:14-20)

• WE PRAY. Intimacy with God is the power source for personal transformation (John 15:1-17)

• WE WORSHIP.  The church should be culturally relevant in order to connect with the spiritually unresolved (1 Corinthians  9:19-23)

• WE FELLOWSHIP.  Spiritual growth happens best in an authentic community of  acceptance, forgiveness, and accountability (Hebrews 10:24-25)

• WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE.  Biblical truth is our final authority (2 Peter 1:20-21)

• WE SERVE HUMBLY.  Serving others with a humble heart is our expression of gratitude to God (Eph 4:11-13).

• WE LOVE CHILDREN.  The next generation is of utmost importance (Mark 10:13-16).
